Sokhumma Sutta සොඛුම්‌ම සූත්‍රය

The 184th residential retreat at Mitirigala Nissaranavanaya Forest Monastery was conducted by Ven. Panadure Chandaratana Thero during end July to early August 2018. The Dhamma sermons of this 5 day retreat were based on Sokhumma Sutta.

To download the following audio files: You could download the file by right clicking on the file link and then selecting “save as” from the drop down menu. Save the file into a pre designated folder to listen on multiple occasions. This is the best way to save your internet allocation.

To listen directly: Please left click on the link to listen directly. Once the link is clicked, you will be directed to a separate page containing the talk. Usually the file starts to play in that window. If it doesn’t you could highlight the browser window and click ‘reload this page’. It will start to play.

  1. How can I stop a sermon and come back and start from the place I stopped instead of having to load all over again from the start?
How can I rewind or go forward?

    • Dear Prabhati,

Once you close what you are listening online, it’s difficult to reload it at the same place. The best is to download the audio file. Then if you had downloaded it to a mobile phone, it will start next time at where you left off. If you downloaded it to a computer, note down the time point on the screen before you stop and switch off. Then you can re-start the computer and start to play from where you stopped.

      With Metta,

      Aruna
