Suriya Sutta in English was a new Dhamma series started by Most Ven. U. Dhammajiva Maha Thero at Allenmathiniyaramaya, Sri Lanka on 25 July 2015. The special and the novel feature of this series was the translation of the Dhamma series into Sinhala by, Ven. Chandananda, a young monk from Mitirigala Forest Monastery.

This is a Sutta from Bojjanga Sanyukthaya and it explains as to how certain signs starts to appear on the Yogi path before the ‘sun rise’ or the Sothapanna stage. This is a very useful sutta for those starting on the Path and the Maha Thero emphasize the importance of Sathi or Mindfulness.
