In this discourse the Lord Buddha compares the Dhamma centered nature of the person with integrity with the conceit of the person without integrity. The Sutta opens with the obvious areas and gradually deepens to subtle behavioral tendencies of the person with no integrity.

This valuable Sutta was based at a three day residential retreat conducted by Most Ven. U. Dhammajiva Maha Thero at Nissaranavanaya Forest Monastery. In a characteristic nature the Maha Thero also explains certain ‘Asappurisa Dhamma’ ingrained in our contemporary Sri Lankan Buddhist Society.

We have also included a PDF of the Sutta from Buddha Jayanthi Tripitaka for the benefit of our readers. Please click here to download the sutta PDF.
